Dr. Tim Silegy |
Dr. Silegy is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and maintains a private practice in Long Beach and Corona del Mar, California. He received his doctorate from the University of Colorado School of Dentistry and completed a four-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the King/Drew Medical Center in Los Angeles.
Dr. Silegy is a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the Southern California Academy of Oral Pathology. He has published articles in the Journal of Oral and
Maxillofacial Surgery and the Journal of the California Dental Association. He was the first oral and maxillofacial surgeon to play a prominent role on ABC’s top rated television show, “Extreme Makeover.” |
Dr. Silegy practices the full-scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery. His areas of expertise include management of facial trauma, hard and soft-tissue reconstruction and dental implantology.
Dr. Silegy is an experienced lecturer, and has been recognized internationally for his effectiveness. He has the ability to condense large amounts of information into well organized and entertaining lectures. By blending a combination of high-tech slide presentations, simulations, audience participation and humor, he is able to keep the attention of course participants, thus enhancing their educational experience. |
